Last Saturday’s gloomy LA weather sent us on an art inspiration day, museum hopping from LACMA to MOCA. Our favorite exhibit was LACMA’s California Design, 1930-1965: “Living in a Modern Way” and here’s a look at what caught our eye. Must-See Exhibit Alert: The Total Look, an iconic collaboration between fashion designer Rudi Gernreich, model Peggy Moffitt, and her late husband, photographer William Claxton brings the timeless designs of Gernreich and the poster girl of ’60s mod together to the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles.
